Historic Locust Hill Manor is a Federalist manor built with local timber and kiln fire brick in 1850. Originally, the manor served as a self-sustaining farm for North Carolina legislator Alfred Cleon Moore, and now the manor is available to the public for weddings, graduation celebrations, and other social events.Guests that stay at the venue have unrestricted access to the historic 3,600 sq/ft manor, the 5 acres of carefully manicured lawn, and the large surrounding woodlands. Tents, wooden chairs, and tables are included in the rental price.
