Each year, Spotsylvania County hosts its Stars & Stripes Spectacular on the Saturday before July 4. As we gear up to celebrate the upcoming 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, join us for this popular patriotic festival, featuring historic building tours, live music, food vendors, and more, for attendees of all ages. Festivities always conclude with a magnificently grand fireworks display. The sprawling event attracts thousands of celebrants and spans much of Spotsylvania's Historic Courthouse District. This year's event, which is free and open to the public, will take place Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 4-10 p.m. in the Spotsylvania Courthouse area, which includes Spotsylvania Elementary School and Spotsylvania Courthouse Village.
