PBS television host Darley Newman and a panel* of four travel and history experts take you on a journey through American Revolution historic sites, battlefields, and great places for food and drinks as they share hidden gems and rarely told stories about the American Revolution.

Delve into our nation’s founding and its future through the lens of history along this road trip route that travelers can recreate from Charleston, South Carolina, to Trenton, New Jersey. Hear about sights and activities in Berkeley County and Camden, South Carolina. Learn more about Prince William County, Virginia, where Revolutionary history abounds along the Washington-Rochambeau National Historic Trail and at the National Museum of the Marine Corps. In New Jersey, explore Princeton, Trenton, Washington Crossing State Park, Somerville, and Morristown before heading onward to Saratoga, New York, and beyond. Topics of interests include the battles of Trenton and Princeton, part of the "Ten Crucial Days" of the American Revolution, and historical documents from the country’s founding.
