Celebrate the heart of the Declaration of Independence- We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness- through meaning and purpose. The programming seeks to actualize those words.

For the Fourth of July at the Virginia State Capitol in 2024, 85 essays were written by students, collected, and printed with the focus on what freedom means to them. This successful program will continue to grow into 2025 and 2026.
