The Strayer House Civil War Orientation Center is located along US Route 11 the historic Valley Turnpike. The original portion of the building was constructed circa 1808 for John Strayer's home and mercantile business and was visited by historic figures and witness to the Battle of New Market. The second floor of the building is home to the Shenandoah Valley Battlefield Foundation. On the first floor you will find the Civil War Orientation Center, Jackson's Corner Cafe, and Crazy Fox Coffee Roasting Co. The third floor is home to Valley Pike Music.
