Stubbs School was built in the 1930s for Black students in Spotsylvania. Moved from its original location on Stubbs Bridge Road to its current site in the historic Spotsylvania Courthouse district, the one-room school provides insight into the educational experience for African-Americans during that time. There are interpretive signs in front of the school and a reconstructed two-seater outhouse sits out back.
