Join us as we welcome America's 5th president, James Monroe, back to Aldie Mill, a place he knows well from his residence at nearby Oak Hill. Colonel Monroe, as he prefers to be known, will discuss the August 1825 visit by his friend and Revolutionary War comrade General Lafayette to Loudoun County, in particular to Oak Hill, Leesburg, Belmont and Temple Hall Farm. He will also reflect on Lafayette's service during the American Revolution. Admission is $10 per person at the door; no reservations required.
