This year's first community staging of "A Braver Campus Dialogue (ABCD) Workshop" will focus on the topic: "How Can We Improve the Local Economy?"

It will be hosted by the VMI Civil Discourse Initiative, in collaboration with Washington and Lee University, Southern Virginia University, Mountain Gateway Community College, and the National College Debates and Discourse Alliance.

The event is designed as a solutions-based conversation, centered on the values of mutual respect, active listening, and constructive discussion.
