Join us in the heart of Horse Country for a once-in-a-generation sporting event that honors America’s first alliance. The Colonial Allies Challenge Cup is an international military polo tournament featuring active-duty officers from the United States and France playing together in a friendly competition that commemorates the Franco-American alliance formed during the Revolutionary War. This event is part of the American Friends of Lafayette Bicentennial Tour and part of a entire weekend of activities for Culpeper's Lafayette Days

The championship outdoor match is held at Liberty Hall Polo Club in Brandy Station—the historic home of Colonel John Green, who served alongside Lafayette at Brandywine and wintered at Valley Forge. Spectators enjoy a panoramic view of the action from the ridge-top natural amphitheater overlooking the field.

This event is part of the American Friends of Lafayette Bicentennial and Culpeper’s official “Lafayette Days” celebration. Proceeds support educational and commemorative programs throughout the region.
