Elements of the Continental line will temporarily camp at Upper Wolfsnare Plantation, invited by that prominent citizen, Thomas Walke, and welcome visitors to speak with a continental soldier, rifleman and officer. The soldiers in the small encampment will demonstrate what they are trained to do at the behest of General George Washington, when he sends notice. Come and see what the life of an 18th century soldier was like in General Washington's army that was once stationed in the Princess Anne County area. The Upper Wolfsnare House will be open for self guided tours with docents nearby to answer questions. Books on local history will be available for sale. Event presented by the Princess Anne County/Virginia Beach Historical Society.
