GRIVA Workshop - Barbara Vines Little

GRIVA Workshop - Barbara Vines Little

About

GRIVA is gearing up for the 250th anniversary of the Revolutionary War with three workshops this summer focusing on colonial records.

Barbara Vines Little, CG, FNGS, FUGA, FVGS, a professional genealogist, has researched, lectured, and written about Virginia and West Virginia resources and methodology for the past thirty-plus years.

Many researchers look for wills, marriages, and deeds at the county level and move on to other venues, but there is much more available. Barbara will share her vast experience as we look at both the usual and the not-so-usual court records, as well as where to find alternates for those burned or partially burned record counties.

The three-hour workshop is $15 for GRIVA members or $20 for non-members. Or, get a package deal for all three of our summer colonial and Revolutionary War workshops (Ray Thompson in June, Barbara Vines Little in July, and Brendon S. Burns in August) for $40 for GRIVA members and $55 for non-members.
