"The Great Badge of Freedom" — The Hanover Resolves 250th Commemoration

On July 20, 1774, the citizens of Hanover County met at the courthouse to elect representatives for the upcoming First Virginia Convention at Williamsburg. Patrick Henry and John Syme were chosen and presented with resolutions to take to this meeting. In the historic courthouse, on the 250th anniversary, hear from Henry and Syme and listen as William Pollard, Clerk of the Court, reads the resolves aloud. Join us at Hanover Tavern for a 3-hour dining, education & entertainment experience!$80 per person/$140 per couple. Advanced Tickets Required.
