Join the Great Bridge Battlefield & Waterways History Foundation as we commemorate the 250th anniversary of Virginia's first victory at the Battle of Great Bridge. The museum will host a day filled with activities for all ages to learn about the important role of this battle in the creation and growth of America.

The day begins at 7 AM with a historian's battle walk where you can walk in the footsteps of those who fought at the Battle of Great Bridge and experience the time and place the battle occurred. The day continues with a battlefield tour, a musket salute and ceremony, lectures by Michael Cecere and Bert Dunkerly, The VA250 Mobile Museum, the American Revolution Experience Traveling Exhibit, and the Library of Virginia.
