Join us on Independence Day for a FREE children’s story time on the rear lawn of the historic Rising Sun Tavern. Costumed storytellers will bring history to life, sharing books about the American Revolution to celebrate the 249th anniversary of our nation's independence. There’s no cost to attend, making it an accessible, family-friendly activity for children of all ages. With times at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., we hope you will visit after listening to a live reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Hugh Mercer Apothecary Shop.
