The "Battle of Charles City Courthouse" is a commemorative event honoring the historical significance of Charles City County in the American Revolution as part of the Virginia 250 Celebration. Join us on January 11, 2025, at 2 PM, at the Historic Courthouse, located at 10702 Courthouse Road, Charles City, VA 23030, for a meaningful and engaging program that reflects on our shared history and its impact on the region.

This program will feature:

Master of Ceremony, Marc Holma, portraying Benedict Arnold, providing historical context and narration to guide the program.
A musical performance by the Charles City Elementary School (CCES) Chorus, adding a touch of local talent and inspiration.
Guest Speaker Marc Wilcox, delivering a powerful keynote on the historical events tied to the Battle of Charles City Courthouse and their importance in shaping our community.
This celebration invites residents and visitors to reflect on the American Revolution's influence on our area while paying tribute to the enduring legacy of Charles City County. The event is hosted in partnership with key historical organizations, including the Virginia 250 Commission, Sons of the American Revolution (SAR), and the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR).
