Saturday Oct 5, 2024 10:00-11:00 am George Pearis Chapter NSDAR will host a wreath laying ceremony to remember our local patriots that took part in the historic Battle of Point Pleasant, Oct. 10. 1774. This event will take place on the historic Giles County Court House lawn in Pearisburg.(24134). District 7 DAR chapters are invited to participate and honor their local patriots. Ceremony is open to the public and opens the Pearisburg Chamber of Commerce Scarecrow Festival.
