Chris Melhuish will provide an overview of Lafayette’s historic visit to Norfolk in 1824 and outline the series of events planned to commemorate the occasion in Norfolk in October. This will be given at the MacArthur Memorial Auditorium. The lecture is hosted by the Norfolk Historical Society (NHS) and is free and open to the public. Period attire is welcome.
