Education

The 250th anniversary of American independence provides an opportunity to educate, engage, and inspire Virginia students about American history, values, and beliefs. The VA250 Commission is working with the Virginia Department of Education to accomplish these goals:

  • Make History Come Alive
  • Spark a Civics Renaissance
  • Celebrate Democracy

Through this partnership, VA250 will be able to provide educational resources such as curriculum development, academic opportunities, professional development opportunities, and enduring educational assets.
