Join us for a screening of Courtmaker: John Marshall and the Forging of America's Supreme Court, a new feature-length documentary that aired on PBS in the fall. The film documents the life and legacy of the fourth Chief Justice, whose landmark decisions helped define the role of the Supreme Court. A panel discussion will follow the screening, featuring John Paulson, film producer; Brian Landis, John Marshall re-enactor; and Allison Orr Larson, William & Mary law professor. Scott Heerman, William & Mary history professor, will moderate.
