Because 2026 is the 250th birthday of the nation, this kick-off event seeks to coordinate a series of conversations throughout the year to discuss how best to set the conditions of success for the next 250 years, drawing parallels between the American Revolution and the AI Revolution. As the oldest law school in the nation, founded by Thomas Jefferson during the American Revolution, William & Mary Law School is excited to cohost this event with multiple internal and external partners (see attached). We hope to bring together a cross-section of stakeholders across industry, civil society, government, and academia, to help build trust and a meaningful sense of community.
