Dedication of Virginia Department of Historic Resources historic highway marker for Hewick Plantation, 5123 Old Virginia Street, Urbanna in conjunction with Arts in the Middle (10 am to 5pm) on Saturday, June 7th . This marker will replace a Hewick marker that was erected in 1930 on Route 17 near Warner. The new marker will be placed at the gate of Hewick adjacent to a historic marker that was erected in 1992 about Hewick owner Christopher Robinson. Photographs and historical information about Hewick will be on view at the dedication.
