"Let Freedom Ring" Holiday Decorations at Belle Grove Plantation

Belle Grove Plantation is decorated for the holidays December 5-30. In the historic Manor House is a 12-foot Christmas tree in the Parlor and area Garden Clubs decorated each room with a "Let Freedom Ring" theme to mark the beginning of America's 250th Anniversary in 2026.

In the "Unearthing Enslaved Lives" archaeology exhibit, votive candles for each of the 270 men, women, and children enslaved by the Hite family. Each candle bears the name of the person and candles are arranged in family groups. The candles are illuminated every day from 2-8 p.m.

Guided Tours:
Monday through Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. (last tour 3:15 p.m.)
Sundays, 1-5 p.m. (last tour 4:15 p.m.)
