Oozlefinch Beers & Blending was named after the large-eyed bird Captian H.M. Merriam saw outside the Fort Monroe's Officers' Club back in 1905. In September of 2016, Russel Tinsley opened the brewery that bears the name of this legendary bird, celebrating good times and the traditions of Fort Monroe. They have been in constant pursuit of innovative recipes and developing experimental styles designed to both challenge and please your palate ever since.
