The Tinner Hill Heritage Foundation will host the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day March for Unity and Freedom on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Falls Church, Virginia. Held under the theme "Mission Possible II: Building Community, Uniting a Nation the Nonviolent Way," this annual event brings community members together in tribute to Dr. King’s legacy of nonviolent action, justice, and unity.

The day begins with sign-making at 10:00 AM, followed by the Unity March at 11:00 AM, departing from the Tinner Hill Civil Rights Monument (455 S. Maple Ave.). The march concludes at The Falls Church (115 East Fairfax St.), where a community program will take place from noon to 3:00 PM. The program will include speakers, performances, and reflections centered on civil rights, community building, and Dr. King’s enduring message.
