Enjoy small town America in New Castle, Virginia when we celebrate the 247th anniversary of our nation’s Independence. The parade leaves Craig County Fairgrounds promptly at 10 AM and will close with prizes and recognitions at the Courthouse on Main Street. The route is level and paved, with lots of places to park and spectate.
The DAR Patriot Cup will be awarded to the Most Patriotic entry. All children are welcome and will receive participation medals or ribbons. Prizes will be awarded for the Most Patriotic entry by children 12 and under.

Hot Dogs, homemade fried pies and soft drinks will be available for purchase at the Old Brick Hotel, 141 Court Street, by Craig County Historical Society, weather permitting.
