The museum sits on one of the last battlefields of the Civil War. Just a mile and a half away, Robert E. Lee met with Ulysses S. Grant to discuss the terms of surrender. Visitors can explore over 400 artifacts, photographs, and documents, including the uniform and sword worn by General Robert E. Lee to the surrender.
