In Alexandria, men, women, and children attended lectures, participated in debates, and attended various entertainments at Lyceum Hall. It was also the first U.S. Bicentennial Center! Today, visitors can explore exhibits that provide an overview of Alexandria's history, as well as special exhibits highlighting stories about Alexandria's residents. This site is part of the Office of Historic Alexandria.
