December 16, 2023 saw the 250th anniversary of the world famous Boston Tea Party. For 2024, plans are “brewing” in Virginia to commemorate another pivotal moment in American history. The Yorktown Tea Party, one of many tea party protests that cropped up in defiance of British Rule, will be turning 250 years old this November. Virginia will be commemorating this momentous anniversary through a weekend-long series of events, November 7 – 9.
