Step right into the Museum's laboratory and see archaeologists at work reconstructing Alexandria's history, fragment by fragment. The Museum displays the results of recent digs and interprets the results of ongoing research through exhibitions, video, publications, seminars and tours. Artifacts include a 13,000-year-old Clovis point, 18th- and 19th-century local pottery, and Civil War items. Activities include Family Dig Days and a summer camp for teens.
