The Williamsburg Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution in conjunction with James City County Parks and Recreation will hold a commemoration of the July 1, 1774 James City County Resolves on Saturday, June 29, 2024. The Resolves banned all trade with Great Britain and called for the citizens of James City County to send supplies to the City of Boston to aid them during their punishment for the Boston Tea Party. A brief ceremony will be held to be followed by a volley.
