An 18th century Independence Day style celebration complete with a reading of the Declaration of Independence, musket and cannon firing by militia and the planting of a "Liberty Tree" just as was done at the time. The program will be held at Smithfield from 10am-3:00pm June 29th-at no charge for participants.
