Join Appomattox Court House National Historical Park and the Liberty Rifles for living history programming. The event will interpret the forming of the Appomattox Liberty Guard, an infantry unit, mustered into Confederate service in June 1861. Nearly 100 living historians will portray the role of citizens and soldiers. All programs are free and open to the public.
