On May 16th Rippon Lodge Historic Site is hosting American Battlefield Trust for an afternoon of colonial history the whole family will enjoy. Since 2015, "Generations" has inspired hundreds of children at historic sites and preserved battlefield land with unforgettable learning experiences. Kids have been immersing themselves in inspiring stories and engaging learning moments in history, and Rippon Lodge Historic Site is proud to participate in this amazing program.
Some of the potential experiences are:
• "School of the Soldier" - drilling in formation
• Signing the Declaration of Independence
• Crossing the Delaware -storytelling and photo opportunity
• Fife and Drum musical experience
• Sewing activity and designing flags
