A Military Spouse Storytelling Event in Norfolk - Heart to Script: Monologues

About

Join us for a special screening of Heart to Script: Monologues, part of The InBetween Series — an afternoon of original theatrical performances written by veteran and military spouses. Since the nation's founding, going back to Martha Washington's contributions during the Revolutionary War, military spouses have played a critical role in the nation's security and story.

Presented by the Veteran Spouse Project, this event brings real stories to the stage — stories that explore identity, transition, resilience, and the space between military and civilian life. Through intimate monologues and shared experience, these writers give voice to moments that are often felt but rarely spoken.

Whether you're connected to the military community or simply believe in the power of storytelling, this screening offers a meaningful and moving experience that invites reflection, connection, and understanding.

Tickets are available for this advanced screening.

The Veteran Spouse Project (VSP) works to amplify the voices of military spouses across generations, using storytelling and creative expression to build bridges between communities.
