The Revolution on Screen

 The Revolution on Screen

About

The Thomas Balch Library is pleased to announce the launch of "The Revolution on Screen", a film-discussion series exploring how the American Revolution has been portrayed in movies and television. The program will take place on the third Tuesday of each month at 6 pm in the library’s lower-level meeting room. The inaugural meeting will be held on March 17.

The Revolution on Screen is a fun way to explore history and film together. A watch-on-your-own film series, participants are invited to view the selected movie or TV episode on their own time. Then, during each session, a local guest historian will lead a lively conversation about the featured title-complete with short video clips, fun historical tidbits, and surprising insights into how the Revolution gets retold on screen. Afterward, everyone jumps into an open, friendly discussion.
