Experience history up close as the VA250 Mobile Museum arrives in Caroline County for a special public showcase celebrating the people and stories that shaped the American Revolution. Visitors are invited to step inside this interactive traveling museum and explore Virginia's pivotal role in the fight for independence through engaging exhibits, storytelling, and living history.

Throughout the event, guests will discover the remarkable legacy of Caroline County during the Revolutionary era, highlighting influential figures such as John Carter, Col. John Baylor III, Edmund Pendleton, William Woodford, John Penn, and Col. George Armistead. The program will also explore the global impact of the era through the journeys of Lewis and Clark and York, whose story of exploration began right here in Virginia.

Special living history appearances will bring the past to life, including character interpreters portraying William Clark and York, who will share insights into the Lewis and Clark Expedition and early American exploration. Their engaging presentations offer a unique opportunity for visitors of all ages to connect with the individuals behind the history.
