Dan River Chapter to host Patriot grave dedication ceremony

South Boston, VA— March 21, 2025 – On Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 1:00PM, the Dan River Chapter, Virginia Society, Sons of the American Revolution will conduct a grave dedication ceremony to honor the patriotic service of Rev. Reuben Pickett (1752-1823). Reverand Pickett’s grave site is at the Black Walnut Baptist Church located at 1061 Black Walnut Church Road in Cluster Springs, VA.

This event is open to the public and anyone interested in local and Revolutionary War history are invited to attend.
