Director’s Series: James Pepper Henry

About

Join Christy S. Coleman, Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation executive director, as she sits down with James Pepper Henry, chair of the Kaw Nation and one of the nation’s leading public historians. The program is the fourth in the six-part Director’s Series, offering enlightening conversations surrounding our shared legacies of American history.

James Pepper Henry has served as executive director of innovative institutions, the First Americans Museum in Oklahoma City and Tulsa's Gilcrease Museum (where he was the first enrolled Native American leader), and director and CEO of the Heard Museum in Phoenix. His compelling approaches to collecting, interpretation and programming of Native culture has ignited new conversations.

Admission is $10 per program in-person or virtually. Tickets must be purchased online in advance at jyfmuseums.org/events/directors-series.
