The Lafayette Bicentennial & Gloucester County

About

Join Robert Kelly, Director of the Gloucester Museum of History & Vice President of the American Friends of Lafayette, for a discussion about General Lafayette's legacy, that includes connections to Gloucester. The American Friends of Lafayette, over 1,500 members strong, are following in Lafayette's footsteps as they commemorate the bicentennial of his "Farewell Tour" of 1824-1825.

Hear about the Lafayette Bicentennial and learn about Stuart Wells Jackson, co-founder of the American Friends of Lafayette, and a resident of Gloucester from 1944-1957.

This event is free and open to the public.
