The American Revolution Museum at Yorktown will present “Legacies of the Revolution,” a special program on November 9 with Hasan Kwame Jeffries, historian, teacher and writer, offering a fresh perspective of the Revolution's enduring impact on the modern world. In advance of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and onset of the American Revolution, the program will invite participants to consider how the understanding of history shapes modern society. The program will begin at 4 p.m., and online tickets are $5 at jyfmuseums.org/hasan-jeffries.
